Of course I said yes right away but didn't realize that I was gonna be taking pictures of the little boy himself. I have been so busy these past few days with being in Atlanta all day Sunday to being in jury duty all day yesterday that I haven't had much time to just relax. Mini Valentine's Day Speical......

I am now taking appointments for my mini Valentine's Day special. There are a limited number of spots available so please contact me if you are interested. For $65 you will get a 30 minute studio session (up to 2 kids-please add $5 for each additional child), 6 images on a cd with a print release, a 10x20 collage that is formatted for printing and a Valentines Day card that can be printed up and handed out to friends.

Thanks Missy for bringing Miss Bella over today to see me. I had so much fun with her :)

Well a new year is here again and with that brings new adventures and beginnings! I am so happy to see what 2009 will bring for not only just my family but for everyone else too :) Thank you to everyone who came and saw me in 2008 and for everyone I'm going to see and meet in 2009. This is going to be a great year and I can't wait to get it started.

Today I took Thomas and Jacob out for some pictures since we had such a nice day outside. Well Jacob didn't want to participate by the time we got to where we were going so I just took some of Thomas. He was such a hoot and I can't believe that he will be 3 on January 26th! Anyway.....best wishes to everyone for 2009 and Enjoy this recap of my Fun Day with Thomas!

My second appointment today was with 2 cousins, Ally & Meagan. These are some beautiful girls and I just love how they are so natural in front of the camera. You may recognize Ally from some previous sessions I've done. This is my 3rd time taking her pictures but the first time in her new hair color which I just LOVE! Today was our Thanksgiving on my side of the family and boy was the food delicious =) Afterwards I took my sister Abi, her boyfriend Richard and my brother Nathan and his wife Tiffany out for some fun pictures. Even though it was raining you can't tell and the pictures turned out awesome, they were great sports. I'm so thankful for my family and wouldn't know what I'd do without them! I love you all =)

This is my 3rd session in 24 hours and there's no stopping here......4 more sessions between tonight and Tuesday and then I start back up again on Thursday.....man oh man! This afternoons appointment was really special to me cause I was able to take some maternity pictures of my best friend. Her and her husband are expecting their first child, a little girl =), in March. You'll be able to tell by these pictures that she hardly even looks pregnant. Must be nice huh? I know you will be seeing more of her as she gets further along and trust me you will see a ton of the little one once she gets here, that's a promise! I hope you and Andy enjoy these and I'm so happy that you are expecting this bundle of joy. I love you two =)

Well my baby is officially a year old =( Where the time went I do not know. I haven't had much time lately to take his birthday pictures but plan on doing them next week so be sure to check back for an update! I have managed however to take his picture in my studio while eating his cake. Boy did he have a ball with it. This afternoon I had an appointment to take some maternity pictures for Allison and her husband Joel. I've know Allison for years so it was really nice to be able to capture some great pictures of her while she was pregnant. I hope you like them Allison and here are a few of my favorites from today!

Well I can't believe it but it is that time of year again. Where does the time go? I just wanted to let those of you know that I am already starting to book up for the end of the month and October so if you have thought about getting your little ones pictures made now is the time to book your appt and to reserve your day. I will only be taking a limited number of appointments so get with me soon! We can do either 'Studio Style-in my home' or 'Outside Style' appointments at the location of your choice (within Troup Co). Either way the cost will be $65 and it will include, the session fee PLUS, 1-8x10, 2 5x7's & 8 wallets. This price is for one child, one outfit change and one pose only. Please add $5 for each additional child and additional prints can be ordered separately.As a side note, in order to guarantee delivery of prints in time for Halloween all appointments will need to be made between now and October 15th.So hurry up and call me at 706.845.8684 or send me a message at melissacotton@honeybeephotos.com to book your appointment today!

Meet Ms Sarah Parker

Today I went down to Fort Benning, Ga to meet this adorable little girl and her family for some pictures. Her Mom contacted me thru, The Littlest Hero's Project, to have her pictures made. This was my first session since joining LHP and I have to say it was a very moving experience for me. It made me think that we need to take nothing for granted and to enjoy our kids while they are little for they are only this way for a while. Here are a few of Sarah that are my favorites and Mom and Dad I hope you enjoy this sneak peak too. The Pollard Kids

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take some pictures of four beautiful kids and might I say four very well behaved kids. I wanted to share of few of them cause I know Mom is wanting to see a sneak peak before they make the move to the Boston area on Monday. You see their Dad, Marcus Pollard #87, plays football for the New England Patriots and it's football season time which means they are off to their football home for the season =) I can't wait to see you guys in February and have a great time in your new hometown. Our Beach Vacation

Okay, I haven't posted anything in a week or so and that's because we have been on vacation. We went to Panama City Beach and got to stay in the most beautiful condo ever at Tidewater Beach Resort. We got it for $50 a night!!! I have included a few pictures of the place and some of the boys on the beach. Thomas had a blast and Jacob wasn't too sure of the sand. The Cutest Couple Ever!

Yesterday evening my friends Cheyenne and Michael came all the way down from Buckhead to have me take their pictures. We had a blast going to different places and trying out new things. I hope they had as much fun as I did. This couple came ready, Cheyenne had an outfit for every location and she had matching shoes, jewelry and even had her husband Michael in a matching polo shirt =) He was such a good sport! Yesterday I decided to take the boys' pictures for the first time in a while. I've actually never been able to take them together until now. As you'll be able to tell, they aren't necessarily paying me any attention, but hey who does! Here are a few of my favorites that I wanted to share. Thomas had an ant crawling over him during this picture.....Poor thing had ant bites all over him when we got through. I felt so bad!

My Very First Post!!
